Campus Masterplan
for EmberHope Youthville
Newton, Kansas
When EmberHope moved its headquarters back to Newton in 2018, they knew they needed a long-term plan to revitalize their historic campus. While their work has always been noble, their buildings were aging and their green space was underutilized. With that in mind, Scott Associates created a campus masterplan to maximize EmberHope’s resources in service of their mission.
The Master Plan provides guidance to make site development decisions that promote compatible and cohesive EHY Campus design.
The Master Plan reflects the exploration of the business proposition/operational change toward Foster Family Care models.
Master Planning activity generated Target Projects and funding models that are positioned for support with the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation.
The Master Plan is structured to provide a Continuum of Housing that is congruent with the Continuum of Care at EHY.
